Will blog for £££. Or food. Okay fine, BOOZE.

Unfortunately where the dollar is right now, it would actually be like that guy, instead of breaking up with you, telling you that he had lost his job and needed you to pay his rent.

I was in London last may and my American dollars could barely buy me pints at Happy Hour. Luckily, cleavage is the international Happy Hour currency....

Bra you say? I'm in.

Seriously though, Perez Hilton should hire you.

Is this relevant to you ? you need to find the next big thing after blogging (or the next installment of blogworld or whatever) and be right there. You're fab and you should be seen and heard.

I was thinking along the same lines as Iain... either that or get ye ole Vox to give you a job! nudge nudge wink wink! ;)

OR... as you are super talented, just create your own BRAND new whole website/blogging typey thing, and pimp it like a mad ho!

"This time next year Rodney, we will be millionaires..."

I second the "super talented" part of above comments! I'm sure you'll find something-the vox suggetsion might be worth looking into... ;)

i understand the frustration in regards to corporations not budging on letting people work remotely. i just moved to Los Angeles for my graphic design job, but want to move back home to Arizona to be with my family. i have knowledge that i cannot teach someone that greatly aides the company and even offered to fly over every now and again for meetings if needed, but my company said absolutely not! they want everyone in the office. i'm so frustrated!

Oh, damn. Good luck Cate. And don't dress like Amy Winehouse... ever.
sending good juju. i'm sure something spectacular is going to land in your lap(top)!!
Wow, sorry Cate. It'll work out. You'll end up with a bigger, better job. That's the way it works. I don't know how. It's a mystery.
Cate, have you looked at joining LinkedIn? They have sits vac in there and you may be able to make some useful business connections.

I don't understand all the fuss about Amy Winhouse. I'm am a horse lover, myself. Wait, what? That's a human female? Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.

Sorry to hear that you are redundant. I'm actually pretty redundant myself. Luckily, my work hasn't realized it yet. I would love to get paid to blog, also. Let me know how it all works out. Best of luck.

Thank you everyone for your sweet, encouraging comments!

Yeah, I don't think 6A have a job role that's right for me or one that pays in pounds at the moment, sadly.

JodiPodi, I totally agree with you, lol. Thank you :) If I do become a millionaire, I totally will buy you that WooWoo we keep talking about!

E, I can't promise I won't ever dress like Wino. I'm going to a fancy dress party next week and I've been researching how to make a beehive, lol.

Jack Yan, yes I am on LinkedIn. My link to it is on the left hand side under my picture :) I've been looking for work on there, and the pickins are slim. Not many writing jobs in London at the moment.
