Have you actually read this? I went to a dinner party a few weeks ago that a soccer mate held wherein a girl swore up and down that i needed to read this book because it was life changing.
Yup, I just finished it last week. It's an absolutely wonderful book. It is very inspiring, but also really funny and not too disgustingly sentimental. I don't really believe that anything is exactly "life changing", as many people will read a book or take a class or even go to a therapist and expect a magical change.
I think books like this can certainly open your eyes and make you see things differently, but only if you want to...
That being said, read it and take from it what you want. It's a brilliant book.
I read this book very recently during a very down time for me. It really struck a chord in me and I can't say life changing because that's up to me, but there were parts in the book that I felt like she was writing about me. Just to know that other's share this kind of feeling is comforting and that there is something we can do for ourselves to get on the right path....whatever that is for each person.
I am buying a copy for several of my friends because it was so good. REALLY well written and enjoyable to read while delivering a great message. I laughed & cried....
